Idaho adidas Junior Phenom Camp
The Crossover Skills Academy

The Idaho Select coaching staff directs several youth basketball events through out the year including camps, academies and tournaments. Below are some of those events along with a brief description of each. For more detail, click on the event to go to a detailed page.

Idaho Select 8th Grade Fall Program
Players: Boys currently in the 8th and 9th grade
Structure: Players in the program will be selected from an evaluation on October 30. Those players will work out with Idaho Select coaches 2-3 times per week through November-December. Please go to the webpage to see requirements and schedule.
Timing: November-December

Idaho Premier Shooting Camp
Players: Boys currently in the 5th-9th grade
Structure: Three two hour sessions working to make players better on offense
Timing: October 7-9 (Idaho in-service days)

Idaho Select Spring Tryout and Program
Players: Boys currently in the 8th and 9th grade
Structure: Multiple sessions that will provide a platform to evaluate players in a competitive situation
Timing: March through May
>>This program begins with the team tryout in March and goes through May with several tournaments in the Northwest

The Next Level camp
Players: Boys that are currently in the 4th-9th grade
Structure: Three days of work outs that focus on offensive skill development
Timing: Monday-Wednesday, Spring Break, 2010
>>The Next Level is a condensed version of The Crossover. It is 100% focused on developing offensive skills for the individual player.

Idaho Junior Phenom Camp
The 2009 camp had over 20 cities represented
Players: Boys that are currently in the 5th-8th grade
Structure: Multiple day camp made up of games, skill structure and breakout sessions
Timing: April 1-3, 2010
>>The Junior Phenom camps are an adidas based camp system aimed at qualifying the best players in the nation to compete at the national camp each summer. Players of all abilities are encouraged to attend.

The Crossover Skills Academy
Players: Boys that will enter the 6th-10th grade next fall
Structure: Weekly workouts over four consecutive weeks
Timing: Tuesday and Thursday nights in June 2010
Tuesday is sold out, Thursday only has a couple spots
>>The Crossover is for experienced players that want to develop more advanced skills

Idaho Select Summer Tryout (State Camp) and Program
Players: Boys that will have at least 1 year of high school eligibility remaining entering next fall
Structure: Multiple sessions that will provide a platform to evaluate players in a competitive situation
Timing: Memorial Day Weekend, 2010
>>This camp also serves as the tryout for the Idaho Select summer teams. The camp/tryout brings in players from around the state and is one of the most competitive weekends in Idaho.

Players: Boys that will be entering the 6th-10th grade next fall
Structure: Skill sessions in various categories

Idaho's biggest 3 on 3 basketball tournament on the streets of downtown Boise
Players: Anyone and everyone
Structure: Three (3) game guarentee for all teams
Timing: August 6-7, 2010
>>BAM Jam is Idaho's biggest 3 on 3 basketball tournament with both a spring (March) and summer (August) version

Nebeker, S. Nebeker, Feil, Jardine and Kiser)

2/24 - Jensen (Firth) scores 15 and leads team back to state to try for title number four

2/24 - Goodale and Graham (Timberline) combine for 28 but Spjute (Borah) scores 31 with clutch free throws to lead the Lions to state play-in game

2/22 - Underdahl (Lakeland) scores 21 but Stannard (Moscow) puts up 23 to send the Bears to state

2/22 - Percifield (Mountain View) named Athlete of the Week

2/20 - Percifield (Mountain View) scores 26 points, grabs 7 rebounds and dishes 6 assists but Rocky Mountain too much

2/20 - Underdahl's 18 points leads Lakeland to win, back to Moscow for IEL state tournament bid

2/20 - Duncan and Prohaska (Boise) combine for 33 points but it's not enough to extend season; Spjute (Borah) scores 18 but can't get past Gillmor and Kelly's (Eagle) combined 32 in OT; Hardy (Bishop Kelly) gets another double-double (25 pts, 11 rebs) and DeSilvia scores 14 in win over Middleton; Nebeker brothers (Melba) combine for 36 but not enough against New Plymouth

2/20 - Former Idaho Select player Hansen helps Weber State down Idaho State 89-64
