Select players grab three state titles

At the Idaho Center on Saturday, three title games featured five players from Idaho Select rosters.

In the 1A-D2 game, Sawyer Wahl was dominant for Nezperce in their game against Carey. In addition to his 20 points and 10 rebounds, Wahl set the tone early by taking three charges in the first quarter. Nezperce would get the win 47-62. Idaho Select players go for glory in three state title games

From the Idaho Center, five Idaho Select players will get their shot to carve their place in Idaho history.

Sawyer Wahl (Nezperce) will start the day off with the tournament’s first championship game vs. Carey.

In the 2A game, Kamiah’s Jack Nygaard will match up with Cole Valley’s Trevor Thomas.

And in the day’s finale, Seth Anderson (Post Falls) and Cody Spjute (Borah) square off in the 5A title game.

Day 4 brings adidas Super 64 to a close

Day 4 ended a great tournament run for the Idaho Select teams, as three teams now prepare for the Best of the Summer tournament in L.A.

Idaho Select Black (17U) started their first game with a strong win over the Arizona Sting, 61-57 to advance to the Gold Bracket Sweet 16.
