Posted on September 27th, 2011 According to our poll taken on September 13, you selected Vallivue High School as the team to beat in the 5A Boys Southern Idaho Conference (see the results below).
Vallivue head coach Scott Moore returns for his second year after going 9-11 in year one. The Falcons lose a couple of key guards but bring back young players that saw a lot of varsity time from last year.

Posted on March 23rd, 2011 Congratulations to all the Southern Idaho Conference players that were selected to the all-conference teams. The following are all-conference players that played for Idaho Select this past summer and/or spring (2010). In all Idaho Select had 2 Players of the Year, 5 first team players, 4 second team players, 3 honorable mentions and 9 all academic players.

Posted on March 3rd, 2011 Coeur d’Alene defeats Eagle
We expected the winning team to exploit mismatches. We just didn’t expect it to be these two. While Coeur d’Alene solved the size problem, not letting Eagle’s Gillmor and Shaw dominate inside, and Eagle did a decent job of containing Cd’A’s Watson (he was definitely the most athletic player on the floor), it was the Viking’s Matheson and Barraco that were the difference makers.

These teams are certainly no strangers to one another. The Southern Idaho Conference rivals split their two games earlier this year. Now, in their third match up, Timberline jumps into the roll that Centennial was in just a year ago.

Posted on February 25th, 2011 When you look back at the 5A District III title game, two things that may have seemed to be small pieces to this game’s puzzle were possibly the biggest factors of all.
First, Borah’s Austin Scott was not in the line up. Second, Centennial’s Nick Saras would match up on defense with Borah’s biggest offensive threat, Ben Tucakovic.
