On June 28, 2007, the day of the 2007 NBA draft, the Seattle SuperSonics traded Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics.
The following July 31, 10 time all star and 2004 MVP Kevin Garnett joined the C’s from Minnesota and the new “Big 3″ was formed.
That season they would go on to win the 2007-08 NBA Championship.
