Posted on November 12th, 2012 It appears that this year there may be more Idaho players on college rosters than there has been in some time. As of the date this was published*, 104 players are from Idaho and currently listed on college or professional rosters. This is up compared to the last two years (87 players in 2011, 93 in 2010).
The list breaks down: 58 freshmen, 16 sophomores, 18 juniors, 10 seniors and 2 professionals.

The spring travel season brings clubs to tournaments which draws college coaches which draws scholarship offers.

After a big first day at the Double Pump Spring Classic with a 3-0 record (17U Gold, 16U and 15U divisions), day 2 started pretty rough. With a 3 point loss from the 17U Black team to Regie Theus’s LAX Hoops team, a 16U loss to Double Pump Elite and a 15U loss to the Arizona Aces, it left a lot to be desired in the afternoon session.

Posted on April 27th, 2012 It’s the first day of the Double Pump Spring Classic in Las Vegas. Most Idaho clubs started their days early, some leaving for Sin City as early as 4:30 AM.
In this year’s field from Idaho are Idaho Select (17U Gold, 16U and 15U), Boise Flight (17U Silver and 16U) and Boise Slam (17U Silver).

Congratulations to the 7 Idaho Select players that were named to the Idaho All-State teams this year, including 2 Players of the Year. There were also two out of state Idaho Select players that were chosen to their respective all-state teams, making a total of 9 Idaho Select players that were recognized for their talents.
