Borah, Mountain View on their way to state

In the first semi-final game, Borah and Eagle weren’t exactly tearing up the nets. But it definitely had the intense atmosphere of a playoff game and clearly both teams desperately wanted the win. And after four quarters it was locked up at 37 each and overtime was needed.

Satchwell shoots Eagle in to the semis

Game #2 didn’t start much better than the first game, with both teams – Eagle and Timberline – preferring to spend the first quarter getting a feel for each other.

Borah and Vallivue open the 5A SIC District Tournament

At Rocky Mountain for the first district tournament game, the biggest fear for a #1 seed is that they will come out flat. For Borah, that fear became a reality.

If you didn’t know where these teams were seeded in the SIC, you might think this was the #4 vs. #5 match up when the game started.
