With a recruiting window in April (Division I schools can’t currently recruit then) but less of a window in July this could create tension with travel teams and NCAA sanctioned tournaments, though it may help college programs since part of the trade off is more time with their own players.
While nothing has been finalized it is clear that the most prepared club teams will continue to have the biggest advantage when scheduling their spring and summer tournaments.
